Wie heeft er al Angels Eyes poeder geprobeerd?
Het zou ervoor zorgen dat verkleuring van de vacht (zoals traanvlekken en verkleuring door het likken) verdwijnen.

Maar klopt dit ook en vooral is dit wel gezond?

heb het niet zelf gebruikt maar heb gehoord dat het niet veel bijzonders is

Het schijnt te werken, maar er zit veel troep in schijnt, met name antibiotica..

Bij Bijou is het een stuk minder nu ze KVV krijgt, en dat bedoel ik niet als promotiepraatje

Mijn honden hebben gelukkig helemaal geen last van vlekken op de vacht. Maar een kennis van mij zijn maltezertje heeft echt verschrikkelijk verkleurde vlekken onder de ogen en aan de mond.
Ze vroeg mij of ik niets kende om de vlekken weg te krijgen en bij mijn zoektocht op internet kwam ik uit bij "Angels eyes".

Lijkt mij niet echt gezond om zomaar antibiotica te geven
Ik had wel al zo'n vermoeden dat het te mooi was om waar te zijn.

en ik doe na het schoonmaken een beetje vaseline op de vlekjes dan hecht het vocht niet zo snel vast aan de haartjes maar al die middeltjes die je ervoor kunt kopen helpen bij Quinty niet dus daar ben ik al lang geleden mee gestopt hoor

Mmmm ken wel angel eyes als koplampen voor de auto, maar om die verkleuringen weg te krijgen weet dat lijnzaad olie vanbinnenuit reinigd, dat het dan minder word als je dat door het water gooid

This matter then becomes an irritant and causes more tearing and therefore more staining. Most veterinary eye specialists believe the actual cause of tear staining is excess tearing. Simple health concerns are often the major cause of excess tearing ie when puppies cut their first teeth, and then again when they cut their permanent teeth. At the same time, puppy hair is growing, just long enough to stick into their eyes and cause excessive tearing. Again keep those eyes clean. Dogs of all ages with teeth or gum problems are likely to have extra tears staining. Ear mites and ear infections, or health problems especially those in the head, neck, and chest areas, may also contribute to tears staining. When the face hair is wet from excess tearing it is the breeding ground for bacteria and yeast, and this is one of the most common yeast infections Ptyrosporin or Red Yeast as it is commonly known. This then causes a deep reddish-brown stain which we all know as tear staining. Low grade bacterial infections in the tear ducts may cause excess tearing and staining.

Does Angel's Eyes contain Tetracycline? No. Tetracycline is a broad spectrum antibiotic used to treat various conditions caused by susceptible bacteria. It is not for use in pregnant, nursing or growing animals. It may damage developing teeth and cause permanent discoloration. Common side effects: anaemia, blood disorders, diarrhoea, difficult or painful swallowing, dizziness, extreme allergic reactions, genital or anal sores or rash, hives, inflammation of large bowel, inflammation of the tongue, inflammation of the upper digestive tract, increased sensitivity to light, loss of appetite, nausea, rash, ringing in the ears, swelling due to fluid accumulation, vision disturbance and or vomiting. Rare side effects: inflamed skin, inflammation of the penis, liver poisoning, muscle weakness, peeling, skin eruptions, throat sores and inflammation. Food and drug interactions can occur; it is especially important to check with your vet before administrating tetracycline.

The active ingredient in Angel's Eyes is Tylosin, a macrolide antibiotic considered as narrow-spectrum, it is active against only a few specific bacteria, therefore it will not develop imbalance or resistance in the animal’s immune system. Dogs can tolerate very high doses of Tylosin. It is important to take the macrolide antibiotic exactly as directed to make sure the infection goes away completely, even if symptoms resolve sooner. Failing to take the macrolide for the entire period can cause the infection to return or can cause the bacteria to become resistant to the macrolide the next time it is taken. A macrolide antibiotic might cause falsely elevated values of AST and ALT. Macrolide antibiotics work best when a constant amount is maintained in the blood.

Maar als mijn hond het zo erg had als een foto die ik hier heb gezien (hele rode /kale ogen ) dan zou ik dit zeker eens proberen

Ik heb Angels Eyes gebruikt bij Lotte. En het werkt echt super! Het zorgt ervoor dat het haar wat er "nieuw" aangroeit geen verkleuring vertoont. Dus bij Lotte was het onder haar ogen rood en je zag gewoon dat er alleen nog maar witte haren uitgroeiden en het overvloedig tranen van haar ogen stopten.
Maar.......het is super duur!
Ik had een potje van 30 gram en deed daar met een hond van 3,5 kilo maar liefst 1 maand mee. Maar het hele punt is dat Angels Eyes als een kuur werkt en je dit 9 maanden lang geeft en steeds afbouwt. Dat zou betekenen dat ik er dan minstens 5 potjes van zou moeten hebben. En dan wordt het dus een duur grapje. Want dit product is in Nederland zo ontzettend duur! Ik heb gekeken om het in Amerika te bestellen. Alleen zitten daar weer hele hoge verzendkosten aan. Ik heb dus maar 1 maand gebruikt en de rode verkleuring is dus ook weer terug. Ik heb ook echt alles geprobeerd, maar niets werkte zo goed als Angels eyes.

fortuna heeft ook verkleuringen,vooral op haar achterpoten,maar aangezien ze er zelf geen last van heeft,ga ik daar niet moeilijk over doen,en zeker geen medicijnen geven,waar angel eyes,gezien de ab die erin zit,voor mij onder valt.

Voor de verkleuring onder de oogjes van Chica gebruik ik "No more stains" van Show Tech.
Als ze weer donker traanvocht begin te "huilen" gebruik ik dit een paar dagen.
Haar oogjes zijn dan mooi schoon en de haartjes rondom haar oogjes ook.
Het schijnt ook te werkenop plaatsen die als gevolg van regelmatig likken donkerder zijn geworden.
Ik neem niks anders meer. Heb vanalles geprobeerd, maar dit kwam als enige als de beste uit de bus.

Ik heb het gebruikt, en het werkt echt. Kortom ik vind het geweldig.

Ik heb het vandaag binnen. Bij Murph heb ik het op dit moment redelijk onder controle maar mocht het toch weer erger worden ga ik de Angels Eyes geven. Echter? Ik heb het idee dat de potjes die in Nederland worden verkocht een andere samenstelling hebben. Er wordt n.l.niet gesproken over de Tylosin as Tartrate (het anti-bioticum)! De Actieve ingrediënten zijn: een mengsel van cranberry poeder, oregon grape root (De Oregon-grape is niet verwant aan druiven, maar dankt zijn naam aan de paarse kleur van bessen, die aan druiven doet denken) en marshmallow root (heemstwortel). Het inactieve ingrediënt bestaat uit 100% gevriesdroogde kippenlever.
Ook ziet de onderste streep van het etiket er anders uit dan op de Amerikaanse potjes. Bij het Nederlandse potje is het oranje! Bij de Amerikaanse potjes zijn ze: geel (Chicken Ingredients:100% Pure Chicken Liver,Tylosin as Tartrate), groen (Sweet Potato Ingredients: Sweet Potato, Brown Rice,

Ben vanavond toch begonnen met de Angels Eyes. Vandaag, door de ferme wind, weer flinke rode traanstrepen die ook nog eens penetrant ruiken. Murph baalt al als hij me met de tube vaseline, oogdruppels en watje aan ziet komen

Overigens is de dosering op het Nederlandse potje ook anders dan op de Amerikaanse potjes!!!
Het Nederlandse potje beveelt een hond van 10 kg. een halve theelepel aan en op het Amerikaanse potje schrijft men voor een hond van 10 kg. 1 hele theelepel voor.

Ik zoek ook de juiste oogreiniger voor onze witte bull. De eerste dag dat ie hier kwam was ie niet zo hygienisch zeg maar. Zn lijfje gedoucht, dat rook weer heerlijk fris en is mooi spierwit. Alleen zijn ogenhoeken en er om heen Ze worden al wel wat lichter door gekookt water enzo, maar heb ook het idee dat het ook snel weer viezig wordt. Het is best hardnekkig. En het is nog steeds niet zo als het moet zijn.

Ik heb even gegoogled wat een verschil nog qua prijzen de ene biedt het product aan voor 22,50 en de ander voor het zelfde pot het dubbele, ik wist niet dat je dat door het voer moest mengen
